I have always been a lover of history, and time worn objects. All the way back to when I was a young girl, I was immersed into the world of antiques.

Growing up in New England just outside of Boston my parents taught us the importance of our heritage and where we came from. As a child up to present day my family participates in Revolutionary War Reenactments including the annual march to Concord on Patriots Day. From there my love of old things old grew!!

Secretly I always thought being an archaeologist would be such an interesting and fun job. Little did I know I would be doing just that as my profession in a roundabout way. Unearthing relics from days past, from an old estate, barn or going to a flea market and searching for that one of a kind object.

For me antiquing is a sort of therapy hence the name Antique Therapy. I am truly in my element when searching for them. I love that I can incorporate interior design into my vignettes of antiques, and after photographing my work for others to enjoy. I love combining textures and use of different color palettes into my design whether it be at the shop I reside in, in Concord Ma at Thoreauly Antiques or when setting up at the Brimfield Antiques Show where I set up seasonally. In my past travels throughout Europe I gained an appreciation for the European culture, architecture, art and antiques, therefore I tend to gravitate to that style now but love mixing industrial or anything that is out of the ordinary and arranging it in a way that is pleasing to the eye.

My ultimate goal with this website and blog is to take you to a place where you can escape to and immerse yourself into design, antiques and all encompassing visual beauty.
