Happy Patriot’s Day
Oh what a great weekend it was to be living in the city of Boston. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or a history buff Boston Was packed with fun things to do and see all weekend long. The Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, The Boston Marathon, and Revolutionary re-enactments were all on this holiday weekend.
My favorite of all of them is Patriot’s Day. For those of you out of staters Patriot’s Day was the start of the American Revolution. In the history books you may have heard of it as The Shot Heard Round The World. Re-enactors come from all over Mass to celebrate this special day.
My family has participated in it for many years. We start off in Sudbury and march ten miles to Concord just as our four fathers did 100 yrs ago. I didn’t march until the very end due to being eight months pregnant, but I did get to join in on the fun for the last small stretch. It was a great day filled with family and friends.
Hopefully my son will love participating in it as much as I do!! Here are some pictures of me and my family from today’s events.
