Out and about in Boston

Today was such a nice day that we decided to venture into Boston. Luckily I brought my camera so I could start taking some more pictures. Throughout the day I took a few random shots in the city on Charles St. For those  of you who don’t live near Boston Charles St. is the premiere spot for high end European and  Asian antiques. The first store I stumbled upon was entirely filled with French antiques. I was in heaven in a beautiful store called A Room With A Vieux located at 20 Charles St. The owner was nice enough to let me take some photos of his amazing antiques. By far my favorite two pieces where these two French enamel clocks!! The elaborate carvings on the china cabinets were also works of art!

After I left that store I took a few more shots of some of the other store fronts on Charles St. Located at the foot of the Charles River this part of Boston screams history and culture. I am truly lucky to live near such a historical and beautiful place!

I hope you enjoy my small tour through Charles St. Enjoy the weekend!

    Hello,

I have enjoyed visiting your lovely blog! I read your post about commenting on blogs and I could relate to everything you had to say! I too wait with anticipation for comments. Some posts that I feel will be well received actually have fewer comments than some of the ones that I didn’t think many people would be interested in reading. I enjoy blogging as it gives me an avenue for creativity and meeting like-minded people with similar interests. I have enjoyed visiting your blog which I found on the Flea Market Style website:).

    Blessings,

    Kim

P.S. Your photography is beautiful. Have you ever thought about turning them into cards for your shop?

Hi Keri. Love the enameled clock also. Posted about a few shops today. One shop owner has a blog that shows @ 30 photos that he took at the French Flea market in January…still lots of clocks! Thanks for the great photos…nice to see what’s new from one coast to the next. Merci, Trish
