You’re looking kind of dirty

” Your looking kind of dirty”. Ok get your mind out of the gutter!! That is what the guy in Home Depot said to me yesterday when I came into the store in my painting clothes. I responded to him that I was working on numerous projects and that I didn’t think painting and stripping furniture in my ball gown would be the appropriate attire to work in. He kind of gave a blank stare and said “Ok” Guess he didn’t get my humor!! To his point I do look  like I have just fallen into a paint can when I work on furniture. I am not the neatest painter but when the my projects are finished they usually come out looking pretty nice. I included a couple shots of my painting clothes just for a laugh!

Here is  a little preview of some of the many items that I have for Brimfield and some pictures of a few of the projects I am working on. To see more of what I have come on over to Shelton field in area B-57. I will be posting more pics the closer we get to the show! Enjoy the weekend!

Ha! I had to laugh at the paint clothes…for me that is most of my wardrobe! No kidding…must be criteria for antique dealers! As for your photos, no fair at all! I’m drooling at the snippets, especially the chair with the hemp linen fabric! Btw, your photography is amazing! ~LaurieAnna

I am hoping to go to Brimfield in May. I always try to get there but something always comes up. I did go once and it was overwhelming but fabulous.

Haha, that’s what my clothes look like after painting, too! I used to pick up the kids at school looking like that–eventually everyone got used to my look.

And believe it or not, I know an artist who did ACTUALLY paint in ball gowns!
