Established in 1635, Concord is known as one of the first origins of the American Revolution. It is in this region of Massachusetts where the first shots of the war happened.

In these modern times Concord has become one of New England’s most desired travel destinations. People come from all over the world to immerse themselves in a part of american history along with the simple beauty of the towns surroundings.

Since I was a child I have come to Concord to learn, shop, and reenact a part of history. Every April 19th along with members of my family and countless others, the Sudbury Militia and Fife and Drum reenact the twelve mile march to Concord. It was on the morn of April 19th that the Sudbury Militia came to fight the British Regulars at the North Bridge in hopes of stopping them from obtaining weapons held in Concord. For me it is a great day!! better than Christmas!! I have met so many great people in the 33 years that I have participating in it. Without the experience I would have missed out on learning about some of our countries rich history along with the friendship’s I have made along the way.

Currently along with it’s history Concord also has many great little shops and restaurant’s. Concord has also become sort of a mecca for antique enthusiasts. Momentarily there are four antique shops as well as a couple of antique book stores. As I mentioned before I recently became an antiques dealer and am moving my business to Concord. The shop I am moving into is called North Bridge Antiques. My business name is Antique Therapy. The shop recently moved to it’s new location at 28 Walden St. in downtown Concord. Our hours of operation are 10-5 Mon-Sat and Sundays 12-5. 978-371-1442. The shop offers a wide variety of country and formal period furniture along with decorative accessories, porcelain, old books, paintings, prints and many other interesting and beautiful items.
