September Brimfield Show
It’s almost official that I along with my mom and another talented friend Amy will be setting up at the September Brimfield show starting Sept 2. We are hoping to get onto the Shelton’s field. I will be sure to post when I find out more details on the exact location of where we will be. But I can tell you this. We will have a wide array of interesting and beautiful antiques to suit any home, decorator, dealer, or collector.
My friend Amy has a great amount of furniture that she has so lovingly refinished and made into pieces of art. Amy has a great eye for design and always adds her artistic flair to anything she touches. I first met Amy at Simply Home in Sterling Mass. We were both new to being in a co-op, and immediately clicked. We both eventually went on to different shops, but remained in contact. Amy currently has a darling space in the Cider Mill in Sterling Mass. She has a mix of old and new Shabby French style cottage antiques and home decor. Her business name is called Thistlebees. I will be sure to let you all know when she starts a blog of her own. I think it will be coming soon!! We are both very exited to be doing Brimfield.
This will be the first time that I or my other two partners in crime have ever set up at Brimfield. Needless to say I am nervous and hope to make a good impression and dent in the world of antiques. So any words of wisdom that you fellow antiquers have would be greatly appreciated. We are planning on doing the show for three days, starting on Tuesday. The show lasts a week but I think we only have enough merchandise for three days.
So stay tuned for more details and maybe a preview of some of the goods!! Happy hunting.
