Part of the fun of having a blog is being able to write about the things you love. Yet on occasion you search your soul to find something creative to talk about in hopes of writing some sort of masterpiece, only to find out that you can’t think of a darn thing that is remotely interesting. This is when you just begin to type and pray that something will just magically flow out of your brain and into the computer. So hear is my attempt at glory, let me just sit back pop some tunes in the play-list and type my little heart out…….

This month has been an interesting one to say the least. For some reason the universe has been teasing me with old acquaintances from my past. The interesting thing about it is I have lived in the same town for many years and all of a sudden they are coming out of the woodwork. In this age of technology I guess anyone can find you. While it has been neat seeing all of these people it also reminds me of the days when I was young and carefree. Isn’t it funny how when you are young you see your life going one way when in reality it goes in an entirely different direction. Back then I don’t think I had a whole lot of faith in carving out my own path in the universe. Party because for many years I just didn’t have a clue what I wanted to be when I grew up. I now strongly believe in the simple fact that we indeed create our own destiny. I think that whatever we put our energy in being positive or negative manifests itself into our own future. With that being said I do feel very positive about what may lie ahead for me in my new found antique career and in my life.

While talking to my husband tonight he asked me where else I would like to take this new career. After the Brimfield show is over I have been tossing around the idea of opening an online antique shop and attaching it to my blog. While in the long term I would love to open up an actual shop, for the moment I will start off with a virtual one.

Well I may have overcome a temporary writers block. That is until the next time I need to post something!! Until then I hope you will follow your own hopes and dreams and do what makes you truly happy in life, whatever that may be……..
