Rockin good show!!
I just wanted to thank all of the people who have left some kind comments, and well wishes about Brimfield. On that note… so far it has been as Lidy put it a rockin good show!! We have made alot of new friends and have gotten so many nice comments on our booth set up and style. One woman even told us she thought our booth was the nicest one she had ever seen at Brimfield. We are lucky to be surrounded by alot of other very talented people including Nesting on Main’s Melissa, and Kary from Thoreauly antiques in Concord, as well as Sue Bradford from Hobart village in West Townsend Ma. I will post some pics of their booths for you in a few days. They have all become such role models for me and have been very supportive…these gals have been doing Brimfield for years and have developed quite a following. Speaking of role models we did have one imparticular stop and pay us a visit. Who is this mysterious woman you ask? It was Rachel Ashwell!!! On opening day about two hours into the show Rachel walked into our booth and asked me what my best price was on a piece I had. She then proceeded to buy three things. I was so exited!! I mean you couldn’t ask for a better first show experience to have Rachel come in comment that you have a very lovely booth and then buy something!! Rachel was nice enough to take a picture with me, Amy and my mom. I also should say that she was extremely pleasant and friendly. So thank you Rachel!! You made our year!! Just to reiterate, we are on the Shelton field in area B-52. Amy and I have decided to add on an extra day and stay till Friday. So come on over and pay us a visit. Stay tuned for more pictures…..

Just found your blog, enjoyed browsing. It’s like being in a virtual antique shop. Great photos.

It was so great to stop by and chat at your lovely booth on Wednesday afternoon. If my toddler wasn’t at the end of his rope, I would have browsed longer! Everything looked great. How fabulous that Miss Shabby Chic herself stopped by and bought some things?!

Hi. I was there on Wednesday at “Heart” and two of Rachels’ staff bought something from me. They said she had to fly to London as her mum was ill. She must have left after she went to your booth. Wish I had found your booth. What day did you set-up? Your booth did look great!!

I’m so glad you had such a great time! I know it’s a lot of work, but what a thrilling adventure.
