Today while browsing the isles of Target to my surprise I stumbled upon some baby mercury glass birds.  I was so happy because they were exactly what I was looking for to put in the nursery. Unfortunately they only had one large one left, but I did happen to see some more small ornaments  for Christmas, so I picked one of those up as well. I have seen these exact birds at other stores for $20. I paid about $10 for the two. When they get some more in I want to get another large one to have a set.

Again I just love the way mercury glass sparkles. It is so much fun to start building a collection of new and old mercury glass. I actually have another petite antique vase on hold at the shop. I will post pics of that one when I pick it up. Until then enjoy!! and happy hunting!!
