My dream nursery
Well I know it has been a while since my last post, but to be honest between the holidays and then being sick after the holidays I haven’t had alot of motivation to post. You may have also noticed that the site went down for a few days. That was due to our hosting site going down temporarily. I thought that I might have lost my site for good, not to mention my brothers site and a few others that he had. Needless to say everything seems to be fine now. Phewww!!
On a positive note the pregnancy seems to be going smoothly despite not feeling super hot the baby is healthy and my stomach continues to grow daily. I found out that I am having a boy around 12 weeks!!
In the meantime I have been surfing the net and local stores trying to find baby bedding for the nursery. I found one that I absolutely love but I am not to sure if it’s what I will wind up with due to the fact that it’s pretty pricey. Of course I have always had expensive taste and now that I have the whole room in my mind planned out it may be hard to find another bedding set that is a tad cheaper.
Here is a few pics of the set that I love. I love the soft muted colors as well as the linen crib skirt. The company who makes the bedding is called Whistle and Wink. Unfortunately you can only purchase it online so I haven’t seen it in person, but I think it looks just beautiful from the pics. If I do go with it I am still debating on what color to paint the walls. I probably will either go with a very pale blue or some kind of beige. What do you guys think? I would love any opinions any of you crafty women have to offer!! We already purchased the crib which is a creamy white. It was one of the first major purchases we made. My in-laws were nice to enough to buy it for the baby. I am also looking for a vintage armoire for clothing with a curtain rod. Much to my dismay I haven’t found anything yet.
Here is a picture of the crib.
The nice thing about it is it has a big drawer on the bottom for extra storage and the side rail seems very easy to maneuver. I will post again when I finally make my decision. I must say I would like to get it resolved soon so we can start to paint the room!! Until then Happy New Year to you all, and may 2009 be a more prosperous year for everyone!!

I would paint the room a light beige that will compliment the bedding.

Hi Kerri.
I am going to do a post on Farrow and Ball Paint by tomorrow that I think will answer your paint question, or at least point you in the right direction.
