Holliston Antique show
This past weekend I attended the Holliston Antique show. Located about fifteen minutes from my house this show is close and always a nice little show to browse. There are about seventy dealers, but all have an eclectic mix of antiques ranging from silver, furniture, and a million other decorative eye candy. I didn’t buy anything to resell but did manage to find three zoo animal lithographs from the 1800’s. I am going to get them framed and hang them above the crib. When I post pictures of the finalized nursery I will take some pictures of them to show you.
In the meantime I did manage to take some shots of three dealers at the show that had some really nice pieces and displays. The first group of pictures are from a dealer named James Buchanan. James is out of Poland New York and has sold at the show before. He always has a nice array of shabby French furniture and oodles of ironstone. His flair for arranging his booth always draws me in to browse and drool!! He can be contacted at 617-834-6761.
The second set of pictures comes from Ed and Anita Sweeny out of Auburn Ma. I met Ed a couple years ago at a local auction. He is always such a nice guy and always has an interesting selection of antiques and collectibles. I especially loved this old Victorian hat perched up on this cool sewing box. Enjoy!!
The last collage of pictures was from Paul and Terry Mason out of Westfield Ma. They have a great store called Twig and Berries antiques. For more info call 413-572-3838. There booth was just my style, Cottage chic!! I especially loved this old day bed with pink and white cushions. Feel free to drool over the rest of their cool stuff!!
I hope you enjoyed the pics and stay tuned for more pictures of my new space in Sterling!!
