I totally agree, Keri. My husband and I have a 10-year-old antiques business and I now have a blog that is about a week old! And I am doing it for many of the reasons that you articulated in this post. Some of our best customers have told us that they love our "look" and that we have a great eye. So I decided to try to put that look out there in blog form, along with info about our shop and the antiques shows we do. So I am still very new at this and eager to learn from people like you. BTW I really love the design and colors of your site here. Very nice! Hilary

Wonderfully said Keri! I live in a little town south of Atlanta, Georgia. Having a blog has been an incredible way for me to meet so many wonderful, creative, talented women it truly has blown me away. It also has offered me opportunities that I NEVER would have had just creating away here in my little country town. For me to be contacted by several publishers, to actually have the opportunity to write articles and have my little ol' work in three magazines in the month of July is truly a miracle. And also a direct result of having a blog....my girlfriend always tells me, Dawn, you have to promote yourself, no one else is going to!! A blog is a perfect way to do just that. And the most amazing benefit of doing this is meeting so many wonderful friends ~ Great post!! xxoo, Dawn

You are so right! It's strange to see things you have sold before, recycled and being sold again, but such is the life of antiques! They go round and round, the ultimate in recycling.

What a beautiful place. Thank you for the tour, it's a special place, one that probably has seen many, many special moments.
